introductions
The sole reason I started this was so I could submit recipes to foodgawker, but I’ll start off with a post about the least boring things about myself:
. I am convinced everything smells better when combined with mint (cilantro+mint, celery+mint, rosemary+mint).
. I once imploded cupcakes. I no longer bake. (Ironically, my first recipe involves baking.)
. My favorite website in the whole entire world is aurgasm.us, and I’m a sucker for a good acoustic song.
. I am a staunch defender of the Oxford comma, and I die a little inside every time I have to edit one out for the newspaper as per AP Style Guide.
. I collect rubber ducks (but I promise I have friends).
. I am trying to start a garden, beginning with tomato plants. It’s not going very well (thunderstorms for the past three days = all the soil came out of the pots).
. I need to learn how to cook before I go to college, because currently my repertoire includes pasta and anything frozen. Eggos are my specialty.
